LIDICKEN 1976 Aug 31 cont. Picking trips (0915): catch: w2l - 1 m.o. Jon - 3 m.o. Stopped to take photos of Smith Lake below the T-field a part of the Univ. nature museum. Had close look at my bold and squirrel, a new sound also. Went back to INF lab at 2 pm around the 12 live minds (11 from today + 1 from yesterday evening). It took until about 1315. Gary went on errands related to his pending hunting trip. Also talked w/ Pete Myers (your - from Burns) + Steve West went to Woods Center (student union) for lunch. Then back to lab to leave notes for Gary. On the way stopped at Burnell Bldg (Biology) + chatted with Gerry Swartz + Bruce Kessel. Walked to (scarlet squirrel) LAB + talked to Steve MacLean (and maybe some Andy) and George West. Looked for Dale Guthrie but he was i conversation so walked back to INF. Met Gary + he discussed Mx data until ~1700, a bit not home to shower/change. Took Gary + Merriman out to dinner at the Tiki Can restaurant, afterwards we went to the "Bebe Affair" club on the East of town. Home about 2300, but Gary + I talked till about midnight. Sept. 1 Got up 0710 in order to go with Steve West + help him run his traplines out on the Bonanza Creek Rd. But, when he arrived at 0800 he explained that the area did not look good + that he had not set any lines traps for Mx occasions as he had planned,
