LIDICKEN 1965 (July 2 cont.) Mac Gillivray's Wullen - com. Anderson's Wullen - 1 Orange cr. Wullen - hand only ? (ascending well still) Emp. Honey - greyish, longish tail; song mike "tslisp" - in after thickets & brush near Angel Lake. Olive-sided Flycatcher - com. or higher slopes than seen on Scotland trip. Carphohaps sp. (prior. conamine) - district from Jutah total. Jim mitchi fat Sparrow - com. & singing white-cr. Sparrow - freq - song ends w/ high this "jzeeri" Brewer's Sparrow - com. on sage slopes Junco - hand only Warbling Vireos - 1 lg. owl seen while driving up slope in dusk tam-tam-tam mackadek (lower slope) Broad-tailed Hummingbird - 8' head ? Proceeded W on US 40. 17 mi. before Elko we saw a Swainson's Hawk. Arrived i Reno about 1900. Visit w/ FSL. July 3 Lear Reno ~ 1900; or, Berkeley 2330. Total miles for trip: 4788.
