Among the 12 P. maculates from Ponte Bende just
in 3 eggs, 4 compound & double colt[?]s. Then we saw

We left camp at 1125. Birds seen around camp :

Then we drove to Oak Crossing where the others had just
gathered up their traps. Bird[?] had caught a cl. junco.
About 1/4 mi. down trail to La Grulla is Oak Pasture. This
is a grove oaks, with 4 apple trees, a spring & grove
area, all together a lush oasis. We looked carefully
for micr[?]s signs or new road. This would be a good
place to try for showe[r]. Also softer signs are abundant.
