LIDJICKEN 1973 April 28 cont. First that he tracks of ORV's around every single Lavre shore. This is also a large completely dark area near the grid lot. It is used as a camping & staging area for the ORV's clubs. Saw I small gopher snake on tracked grid while setting dogs there. This seems to be that the same amount of small animal remains on this plot is on the control - perhaps even slightly more. Put my tent & cooked dinner after dark. It was very windy all day but this did down completely at night. April 29 Got 0530 to run trip. Terri Jucks & Peter Wood[illegible] arrived from Clive Lake about 0600, to help us. Checked tracked grid first & the control. Finished by 0800. All cats were marked, weighed & splained. Cats: tracked grid - Paragryllus formosus[illegible] - 1 P. longimembris - 1 D: [illegible] mariani - 4 control grid - D: [illegible] mariani - 3 P. longimembris - 1 Of the 10 animals only 1 of D. mariani from the control grid was marked from the last drifting in March. Of the 3 of mariani on the first grid 2 had tests not released (had scarred flighty & big clutches) & 1 was partially desc. On the control, 2 of 3 had clearly loose tests.
