Turtle Dove - saw, land + 1 seen Wren
Green Sandpiper - 2
Jay - saw.
Robin - land only
Raven - 1
Garden Warbler - land
Black-cap.
Barnard Warbler - 1 (identified Wasilewski temporarily; his flight song)
Yellowhammer
Three Sparrow
Also saw 2 Alcedo + 2 Sus scrofa as well as much sign of both - esp. Sus (beds, trails, wallows, + feeding places). Also 1 Natrix natrix.
Also seen in the area, but not in forest -
1 Golden Oriole, Linnets, Song Sparrows, etc.
Amsterdam to Puerto Rico
15 July - sailed on freighter Ulysses (KNSM) from Amsterdam at 1730. New Shore: Bht.-beaked Gulls + Herring Gull, Common Gull - 1, Cormorants - many.
Offshore - Herring Gulls only.
16 July - (off south shore of England, but not within sight of coast). Small group of Less. Bht.-beaked Gulls and Black-headed Gull.
