LIDICKER 1972 April 28 cont. 7:10 flight for London. Arrived about 2030. Ward gave me a ride to Leicester Square so he did to go to his office to develop lists etc, and took the tubes from there, arriving about 2240. Birds list 9 June of May: Lesser Kestrel - 3 (not red throated) - seen on way out to Isle. Gannet - 2 (23rd), 3 (24th), 3+ (28th) Fulmar - con (seen every day) Sloes - con. (many sitting on gyps) Cormorant - sev. imm. (23rd), 1 ch. (24th), 2 (25th) Eider - con. Shelduck - 2+ (23rd), 2 (24th), 1 (26th), 2 (28th) Dyestach - sev. every day, 6+ (26th). Turnstone - sev. hundred every day. Redshank - 1 (23rd) Purple Sandpiper - 1 (23rd) Curlew - 1 (24th) Gt. B.B. Gull - 1 (23rd), 1 fr. (24, 25, 26, 27, & 28th). Less. B.B. Gull - con. Herring Gull - abundant; on 27th, 1 chick of 3 found; 1 fr. seen Common Gull - 1 (23rd on drift out), 3 (28th on drift back). Kittiwake - cloud. (20 eggs seen). Razor-billed Duck - con. Starling pairs copul. on 25th; 2 small 9s have egg-mips & Brilliant (= Con. Murres) - con. (2 of them seen together possibly) polled). Puffin - 50+ (23rd), 250+ (24th), 2000+ (25th), 1000+ (26th.), 500+ (27th), & 500+ (28th). Many with eggs. Rock Dove (lots of dom. gens during) - 20+ (23rd), 6+ (24th),
