Bird life is spectacular; several hawks on. After lunch we helped Graham count 185 Longbilled traps on the entire island. This was the start of a camera taking & trapping list too. Mike set an additional 15 traps around the house. Red-lits are moderately common on the island, quite a few we saw; myxomatosis has arrived on the island & greatly reduced the red-lits from Javanian levels. After setting, walked and isled, especially along W. cliffs where many birds are beginning to nest. Only the sheep were seen to be nibbling at eggs. Weather: -- sunny with mod. winds.
