Common Crow - 100+ Carnoye, com. thrashed tiny
Wren - 2 (very golden) i Carnoye
Goldcrest - ? not seen, but family had i morning.
Saxicola sp.? - 1 i Carnoye
Robin - com. and Dolgun
Blackbird - saw. and Dolgun & Shanker: Twice
Song Thrush - 200 seen but having studied no specimen

Blue Tit - com and Dolgun
Great Tit - " "
Knot sp? + (nid. at least 1 i Carnoye)
Tree sp. - 1+ Carnoye
Chaffinch - com. and Dolgun
Red Bunting - 25+ Carnoye
Mammals recorded on trip:
Carnoye: heard rodent sign around dens; also
weasel-sized tracks; in a vegetated area between
dens saw large runways, possibly a Arvicola containing
green cuttings & 1 Lepus europaeus. One dead
Rattus rattus (3/3 grown) found on Carnoye site.
Lots of black mells & foxes (far?) seen also.
Hutzylog - 1 DOR
shrew - 1 seen running across road at night; size
of Blarina (seen Oct.28 when returning from Ailgen).
Sciurus vulgaris - 1 (seen Oct.28) - The main comment
to make regarding squirrels is how rare they seem
