8 traps around each stake. Setting we took a
walk to The Wick on the south side of the island
down the cobbled track along the coast (500) to the
lower. Grey seals are common and stones at
frequently can be heard calling. On the South Haven
we saw 4 seal pups in various places along the rocky
shore. There were numerous small caves around the shores
of the island which the seals use for jumping also.
There was a violently heavy rain storm in the
middle of the day, but later it cleared up, so it was
a beautifully clear night.
