LIDICKON 1971 Sept. 12 sat. at the lighthouse. I led only 1 mrs, but a total of 16 were taken for the lightshow one. Returning to the Obs we checked on other 50 trips; I led 2 for 3 and the workbench at total 11:24 hrs was taken for grand of 387. Processed mice starting after lunch & continuing until 9 pm with break for dinner. Finished of 19; a total on caught in lot while processing. Barr has Carrie Corn which is very tame. He raised it from fledging (born in April). Got came around begging for food during much of kid-day. At 22:0 we all walked to lighthouse & gathered of py. Skimmers while Barry strayed them. We caught 108 in about 1/2 an hour. In addition I caught 1 adult which was released. We got back about 11:45 and had coffee before turning in. A few eggs still had downy feathers on the & I saw one which was almost completely covered with down (it was not disturbed). We also checked on traps near the lighthouse, except for the ones taken set immediately around the lighthouse, but including the 9 remaining ones of my line - nothing in any of them. Sept. 13 Got up at 7:30 o'clock and until breakfast at 0830. Some interesting birds seen were: 2 jays - 2; The Meadow a Tree, probably better off we clumpy-looking & seemed to have short legs, Reed hunting, rock jay-kits, wheatear, spotted flycatcher-l,
