LIDICKER 1970 Sept. 1 cont. Les: Logan's (37 traps) - 16 SL. - (group q 3 sw [illegible] of good) - 2 (edgy of them) - 1 19 Agate: Eaglw. (25 traps) - 7 SL. (q traps) - 1 8 Total catch: 51 + 4 last night = 55 Mr. Blanford told us that he was having a little trouble with Mr. Hornbeck (head of land procurement section of Park Dist.) over terms of the club's lease, but otherwise relations were pretty good. We saw 14 Canada Goose feeding in their yard + 1 Black Brent nearly which Mrs. Blanford says comes to come with the hunters. Agate collected some sand samples from various potential [illegible] foods after we finished with the traps. Left field ~1000. The range of 55 included 1 & truffle. Agate took this, + 12 & + 12 & agoutis into his colony for breeding. This left 30 agoutis which were killed for autopsy. Agate reports all w/c appeared to be healthy. Autopsied 30 dead w/c on Sept 2 & 3. Almost all had few - mod. nits & the less marked fleas around to have at least a few for houses. There was both a small + very large flea.
