LIDICKER 1965 Currently here. There are lots of Weston moths. I set 14 traps, S.T.C., especially for skews. When we got back to S.T.H.Q., there was bad sleighing so we were making off to head to John Traphlin. I went up to the mouth of Median Canyon and sent my 16 traps there (for his trip around this area). Like last night, no record after dark – the worst yet. After dinner there was thin for a little shining before 20:15 when we got together; John Davis's living room for a slide show on this year in Peru. Our work was completed by evening in a trap in Davis' yard. Nov. 23 Picked up traps at Anderson Creek immediately after breakfast. No skews were taken. I caught only 1 giv. Parangus californicus (no. 3206). About all my traps were strong, presumably by wood ants; snow was coming every. Several beetles were also taken. The 2 fielded up traps at Median Canyon. I had 1 Weston (same individual as killed & had caught the first last night – i ran trap. Saw stain on tail lid & had send to Bill Mitchell) Parangus californicus - 1 (in his trap) + 1 tail Parangus californicus - 1 (no. 3207). Snow shined until lunch, after which we cleared off & left ~14:45.
