in chapinel . Griffin says the is very mature
stool, maybe 100 years old. Caught 2 Nestorane
& 1 trail dip.
Psophorus californicus - 1
Psophus fasciatus - 2 (1 is live dip)
Helped class with shining & we found up (#3205)
on my woodrats & went on to Dave Bell's. I also
shined a Psophurus the Jeff & I caught 1 &
2 trail dips in the brush next to Davis' house.
In the afternoon we shined the class hour to put
more dips, putting a total of 10 in the yards near
Davis's & Griffin's houses. Also shined down the
farm on 2 deer ex clovers. Then we walked up
Schwalmor hill to see the Cellar live through the
oak woodland, & then went to Schwalmor Meadow.
From there we came down the hill looking at various
junipers, wood nut havers, etc. In the meadow at
the base of the hill (close the road) we found alot
of fresh microtous signs. Then we split up,
Pettus took a group back to Jimmie Bell's ranch
when some had just come back right & Fred & I
took a group to Robertson Creek. At the millhouses
we ascended up the county road to the gate looking
into the Turgan property, decided & walked down to
the stream. The stream was flowing & contained fish.
There were quite a few patches of edge & other
brush vegetation that we put traps in as well &
