Spent the night at Eagle Villa Motel. June 16 Caly. 299 to Alturo, rain on the way. US 395 N to jct. w/ US 20 at Riley, Oregon. At Lake Albert saw: Earl yule - com. Caly. gull - com. Wilson's Phelanp - ~ 200 N. Phelanp - ~ 15 Around - ~ 50 molled - ~ 10 Pintail - saw. fins. US. 20 to Vale, Ore., where we spent the night at Williamson's Motel. Rain during most of day. June 17 Cont. on US 20 to Ontario, then took Orv. 20, to Weiser, Idaho, & thm on N on US. 95. In Moscow we drove around U. D. Idaho campus & the descended on Week. 270 to Pullman where we similarly surveyed the Week St. U. campus. Then we took US 195 to Spokane.
