LIDICKER 1969 Didn't get to bed until 0030. Oct 25 Got up at ~0730. Checked traps after breakfast. I caught nothing in mine; several were stringy. Others caught crabs, + a few thornybug maraculatus. The latter must have been low in numbers. Crabs swarmed all morning. After lunch we had a goather trapping lesson & almost everyone got traps (master's x live trap). After this we split into 2 teams taking a group down to lowest north of Reno to set traps. Fred McCallum & I took the west & first we went by the site. to a large rock out crop where we set traps for Newtona - mostly Scyther traps + some net traps. A total of 13 Scyther's, 11 net traps were set here, baited with cooked beefo peanut butter-vets mix turn for the most part. The we drove to Holbert Mills & on foot to a public campground & set 133 traps - a scyberhead after. It was actually a more bitter brush. Returning to the station, several students set 32 traps + then came out from up to Crescentation & fire mudlips, while Fred & I set 7 Scyther's + 1 net trap in a large brudder field along Sycanon Creek. This was a good amount of work not major trouble among other troubles. We got back to camp at dusk just in time to check our traps & found that my bin of 40 traps contained 5 Entomias armenus + 1 Cellodopagylis Lactris, After dinner we
