L/DICKSON 1969 Aug. 17 cont. just before the tech shots of forest & karlin & from which I caught my 1 Melamp (no 3156). Skinned the 1 melamp caught. Brown can now with some more animals for from the Search: Thylogale brimjini - Mt Bugest, NW q Beige R. Phalanger gyantis -vic. Tranna Valley P. vestitus - Mt. Bugest, vic. Tranna Valley (This is the ridge between the Tranna Valley & the Jimi R. Valley). Pogonomy sylvastin - 2 for Tambl P. mollig: looms - 1 from Tamble Then canid love all - exchange for a 4 Dr Doolygen goodfellini which had come into camp 2 days ago & for which we paid $22. Brown was eagerly anxious to get a # of this species so we tested him. We then bled & skinned the Pogrongy & after lunch the Thylogale. The 2 Phlangers we are going to dry to get back to Mt. Wren alive. When I finished skinning & saltin the walldsy (gave the carcass to Jenger & Kumbut), we started packing our gear as well as all the stuff that is to go to S: bley at Borchia. An evening talked with Tas again & Brown can now shoot 2130. He brought out of his Phlanger skulls - mostly stupid specimens, or showed me why he thinks vestitus
