Aug. 15 cont.
our very 2d. coloured Melony (no. 3156). A
specimen of Philator was brought - from a mist net
set along River with forest along the side. In the
afternoon, a young boy brought - a ? Pigeonwamp
(no. 3159) along with 3 nestlings (which were jickled).
Set 6 mist traps along river for water nests spreading
the as much more than before. Bait was Banana or
Banticoat meat. Ranest 3 traps which had the net away
the house but brown - in the same vicinity (in tall cane
grass). In the bg, down behind the house, I spent the 5
traps (2 SL. +1 mist in tree) & called another area of
them (3 SL. around brown). The next 2 SL. I worked here
over to a line of 14 through the forest running along
the bluff behind Tas's home. This follows the
stream from which Tas gets water. Along the other
I set 3 mist traps + 5 Sherman's (all banana bait).
Finally nailed 1 mist trap to side of a fairly large
tree near the house. Vince and 3 dy. line traps
around chicken combs for Saltmullers.
Gordon led son to art. Hogan today & reported that
there was no flight to Monday or Sunday since Dilly
