Mus. 1373, Jan. 1938 Heever, Port Nolloth.C.P. Description Head- No eyes or ears visible, a pale yellow Color with a golden tinge on face and head, below more buffish brown. Body - soft fine fur a light grey brown above, hair base a light slate grey. Below on belly and breast a grey mixed with a light buff. Tail- none visible. Forefeet - 3 toes with large digging claws, First and second claws largest, the 3rd claw smaller but much larger than the 3rd Claw of amblysomus batellonutus. Hindfeet - 5 toes and claws with smaller concave digger Claws. Hindfoot much smaller than forefoot.
