Description -
head - rounded, brown, striated, with a distinct light dorsal line running along the middle of the head.
body - a brownish grey with a lighter stripe down each side.
tail - short, black, and covered with scales.
fore feet - Achromous and digitiform
hind feet - A toe and claw, also brownish grey,

Some Cales as C. asiatica is light grey with a light yellowish belly.
