(Golden Moles) Genus species - Chrysochloris asiatica Family - Chrysochloridae Super fam - Chrysochloroidea Order - INSECTIVORA Ex. 26ec. - KM-829 4, 8 Nov. 1935, Reservoir, Cape Town, 550 feet (A.B.) 12 -> 10 = Description - head - rounded, brown, striated, with a distinct light dorsal line running along the middle of the head. body - a brownish grey with a lighter stripe down each side. tail - short, black, and covered with scales. fore feet - Achromous and digitiform hind feet - A toe and claw, also brownish grey, Ex. KM 904, 17 Jan. 1938, Camdeboinsdrift, Near Kommetje Berg, 100', Shetridge, 102 -> 10 = Some Cales as C. asiatica is light grey with a light yellowish belly. no face and skin in this pattern.
