Light cinnamon fanny brown with splotches of a lighter color scattered about on the dorsal body, head lighter, below a uniform light grey. Crocidura Crocidura russula KM. Ex-658 ♂, 29/3/1942, A/gev, K. Jordan, HB-70, TI-37, HF-14, Ear-8 a rusty rufflous color above, below grey. Crocidura (D) KM-11645 ♂, 2 July 1946, M'onje Plateau, Nyassaland, 5700'-7000', Shortridge, HB-78, TI-56, HF-15, Ear-10. a darker cinnamon with a slightly metallic purple blue, below greyish brown, tail more than half length. collected? Crocidura mortensii KM-666 ♀, 9 Nov. 1936, Komies berg (Witwater Plateau), Namaqualand, Shortridge. 3500', HB-83, TI-54, HF-14, Ear-11. a dark greyish blue, tail over half length of body, lighter blue grey below.
