Elephantulus traponis
as body. Tail dark above with short hairs slightly lighter below except at tip, short tail rings concealed by hairs.
Fore feet - 5 toes all with curved black claws,
yellowish-white short hairs on feet above, black foot pads,
Hind feet - long - 5 toes with black claws,
1st toe short and on side of foot above other
4 long toes. Yellowish hairs, short on foot,
dark pads below. Legs thin and much longer
than forelegs.
