Shortridge, No. 752, 16 Dec. 1945, Delfontein (Karoo) C.P. (S. Afr.) Alt. 4460', H-B-128, Tkl-122, Hf-37, Ear 25. Description - Head - Snout elongated (approx - 3/4" in length) Dark groove under snout. Black whiskers ranging from halfinch to two inches long. Ears light brown with short brown hairs, below ears naked except for light hairs near margins. Head buffish brown above, grey at base of hairs, yellow grey hairs around and behind eyes with slate grey bases. Chin and throat white with grey at base of hairs. Body - Buffish brown above with slate grey at base. Below white with grey base. Marked around base of tail. Tail - Dark brown above, lighter below. Forefeet - Yellow brown above, lighter below, pads dark, 5 toes, Claw on each toe, hair on toes.
