Mus. ♀ No.1107, Alt 650', Goodhouse, Orange River, Namaqualand, H-B-182, Tl-1/2 (stunted), Hf-37, Ear-17, (Personally collected) Description Head - nose rusty-luff color, whiskers long and black, hair on top and sides of head brownish grey, lighter toward lips, chin yellow hairs with grey bases, skin light. Body - shoulders greyish-brown with yellowish- Brown tips, back and flanks a rusty reddish color with brownish grey bases. more brownish below. Hair long and very soft. Skin extremely delicate. Almost falls apart when shaving. Tail - reddish brown hairs at base, black hairs on top, below black hairs reddish brown tipped but not to extremity which has black hairs, hair some one quarter inch long. Forefeet - 4 toes, 5th toe vestigial, claws on 4 toes, hair on toes and in between toes, russh
