"Personal Notes"
I collected Polony at Luanshya, Northern Rhodesia in the swamps of that area,
and also at Serova, Nyamiland.
I have never found them in any but a marshy, groovy area. Never should
been able to collect them in abundance.
They are about during the day, as I caught
one specimen about 4 o'clock in
the afternoon. They share the same
habitat with Crocodylus Shortridgei,
and Maxlonys C. Missour.
