No. 6913, Alt. 4465', Balovale, Barotseland, N. Rhodesia, 5 Oct. 1938, J7, H-8-113, TI-126, HF-27, Ear-16. Description Head - golden hairs mixed with dark hairs. dark grey base, golden hairs around eyes, chin and throat with white hairs, ears with short reddish gold hairs. Body - single dark narrow stripe running down back to base of tail. Hairs of back same as top of head only more golden buff on rump and hair of hind legs, belly and below white hairs. Tail - Buffy gold short hairs above, skin dark and scaly rings, light skin and hairs below. Forefeet - 4 toes, 1st toe vestigial, short claw on each toe, light buff hairs on feet. Hind feet - 4 toes, 1st toe very short and
