Africa, 88,95,17,15, 4/6/37 ♀ Desc - slate brownish grey above, whitish grey below, tail longer than body, feet white; Petromyscus collinus copensis KM - 3638 ♂, 2 Jan.1937, Goodhouse, Orange River, Namqua land, 650', Shortridge, 90-98-17-17. Desc - a chestnut fawn above, whitish grey below, feet white, tail longer than body, black hairs toward tip, ears brown. Petromyscus collinus bruchus KM - 3636 ♂, 27 Sept. 1923, Great Brukaros Mts. Bersebo, S.W. Afr. 3500-5002', Shortridge, 87-97-17-15 Desc - fawn color above streaked with brown, suffused sides, whitish grey below, feet whitish, tail longer than body, light brown color.
