Shortridge, Alt. 3500 app. Hainesberg (Witwater plateau) Namaqualand, C.P. H.B-153, Tl. 90, HF. 25.5, Ear 23.5 Description Head - sooty grey, slightly darker on top of head, cheeks lighter, light grey on chin and throat, ears oval, short hairson ear. whiskers fine, dark. Body - fur long, brownish grey above, sides more sooty grey, hair below shorter and light grey. Hair bases a dark slate grey. Tail- 1/2 as long as body, dark above, lighter below, hairs short. Hindfeet - 5 toes, 1st toe shorter than others, claws brown, short light brown hairs on foot, nails extending out beyond claws, pads dark brown. Forefeet - 4 toes, light brown hair above, pads dark brown, dark brown hair on leg above pad.
