SPEC - KM-9608, Nov, 1944, Lwembwa R. Juenge D., 4000', N.Rho. D. Gordon (Lawrence?) no measurements. Desc - Brown above, sides lighter brown or fawnish below white, tail longer than body, (very long), black streak on top of tail lighter toward tip, tuft of light hairs at tip, white below, 5 toes front foot, 1st vestigial, others long and with claws, feet white, hind feet and legs long, feet very long, pads brown, 5 toes with claws middle 3 long, no 1 very short. A large gerbil.
