Hind feet - white above foot, brown paws with no hairs, white hairs along short and on toes, 5 toes all with claws, hair of leg grey. Mammae - 8 (2 axil, 2 pect, 4 ing) Personal Notes I caught three specimens of the Greater Cape Dormouse at Felli Fontein, Little Namaqualand. There were living in the large Boulder piles confronts that Country. They were very scarce as I had many traps out while I was in the area. They build their nests deep in the rocks where they have ample protection.
