E. Port Nolloth, Namaqualand, S. Afr. 469-171-69 Description Head - black margins around eyes, nose black. Ears black. Hair a fawnly grey. Body - Shoulders fawnly grey - soft - giving way to bands across back of dirty white, brown. Sides fawnly grey, basal hair more yellowish, grey at base near skin. Belly darker fawnly grey with a yellowish tinge. Tail - about half length of body, tip 2" black, rest of tail hairs a mottled fawnly brown, base of hairs a light buffish. Lower tail more yellowish buffy. Fore feet - 4 toes with long black curved claws. Pads black. Hair on feet fawnly grey. Hind feet - 4 toes with black curved claws, pads black, hair yellowish white on foot.
