Collected Cheetah Genus species - Acinonyx jubatus Subfam - Felinae Fam - Felidae Superfam - Feloidea Suborder - FISSIPEDA Order - CARNIVORA EX - KM-14431 ♀ 14 Sept 1945, A506, S. W. Afr, Donia, 880, 520, 240, 70, Desc - Head - ground color a light ruffous brown black stripe from corner of eye to corner of upper lip, numerous small black specks on forehead and head top of ears black. Chin and throat white. Body - a shaggy mane from back of head to upper back and shoulders of streaky light brown hair, body color light whitish brown with a slight ruffous tinge, numerous black spots down lower back and legs and sides, and tail, bellow whitish brown, Tail - as described, dark brownish band near tip, tip white. King Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus rex) KM-14436, 1945, Metopos, S. Rho, Daombo, Total length 6'5", Desc - Background color pale whitish with a rusty tinge, black mane on neck. running into B narrow black stripes down back with a broken black stripe on each side running parallel with it, black marks very dark and distinct, some dots, some wave narrow marks.
