Zero + zero in net. In 15 min., I took a new small salamander (yesterday, I saw a Bonliana near house). Also we took a few Anolis / Cid & Bill took me back to network benefitio / then I found them mist net to edge range grove. / Disapled
11:30 & investigated trails up ridge to 5. Stopped to pull banana leaves & took about 10 salamanders there eventually. One up fair trail to about 1000 m, when a family road-side trail headed SE. Mostly small trees brush around it, but side trails led to cedar about 30' high (many had been cut, + "drum"). I found only one bro-winded; that on ground, leaves 16"; found one small salamander in it. / Later returned down hill, saw a few Athepeta (olive green backs & tails) in range & coffee. Orupella suspension. Saw simple purfrent at edge range grove. Put up seems mist net there. / Cid & Bill had taken over 20 small salamanders in banana trunk leaves today. / In morning, I noted a Hyblella;
used them? I remember?
Cid drew blood; body disappeared (cat?). / Net among very trees (no fruit = Bonduin virain) / Cat got it! / now took a black-tailed green warbler in evening. / Cat got one large Panama species from car. / Net in benefitio basement took 2 Stenophaga (50% catch) in evening.
Bill & Cid saw a Phalader near water hole, + late flying seen pool to W. of the benefitio. / Lightning evening, + short rain showers at night. Heard no suprimulphic, but heard pipying and several times, + Cid says her seen three. Also he says saw buteo hawks, perhaps red-tailed hawks.

24 April 1978. Nearly clear, cool morning. One waller in the 2 nets, + several large butter. But net took no additional / Cid & Bill went down to lower benefitio & searched pulp for scilians; no lucks. They saw a cremin, colored taragu there. / Net took Myia-dun tubenculferi, nekours. Also an Amazilia eyrocephala or?, t. 1 mm. / Masha Hunt found a bitorge's nest in built-thorn orange tree about 100' from gp. avines Berhyncha w. nests (w. eggs, + w. young). We photosed nest; observed adult bitorges. Rufous-brown back & tail, black crown w. yellow spot. We also saw apparent Cortocor serisone flycatching from a stil
