Cestophaga, in lucus + low branchy trees in flat gardens.
Knobbler nearby. Cattle egrets - 1-5 gmrs. among cattle.
An apiary with 100+ hives, fenced. Heard my alamatta. Saw
hermit (Phacethornis) at platillos + other flowers among shrubs.
Cibi saw apparent Tigre (redsnake). Drymopoa linctora occurred
dead still in ruin. Small langflesh - green w. white collar (in ?)
americana?) over ruin. Trail continued S. to an olden-looking
jaguarom? that Cibi visited last May. [People not curious. We
walked back to Patezte, + took boat backs to San Dantas. ] After-
noon of 8 Feb, we visited long Watson, of the Epinal plant,
at the local "club" (food, drinks, pool, movies). He came slowly
w. Mario D. (company page for environmental studies). W. will own
any club privilege cards formers, + trips by land down Rio Dulce).
This afternoon, we visited Watson at nickel plant. Apparently
so. for about 3 lead concerns, one to S. of L. de Izabal. The
close me about 20 sq km; present hill of spartina should
supply ore for 5 years. Only water pollutant in heat. W.
talked w/ plant employee Luis Perez, who had prospected in
S. de las Meras 20 years ago. He said there were panzer +
a spotted cat, a foisey. Trail from Banco [Rd. front down]
to Jones (NE of Rio Nardo). Some errors from Santa Cruz up
to marmolonia, then walk ridge. Another trail from Sanico
(in Lake) to Las Panteras. He thought game + ven snakes
had decreased over years. But thought still saw white-
lipped greecin in swamps at head of lake. Few mines in S.
Delas Mera - look ten. Still some local hunter at Cator. Came
