or wool
Needs about 20 skins. For October run 15, this can
do with 10-12. Not manufacturing coat costs at
moment. Retail sales; not export. Sells about 5
jogger coats per year. Thinker synthetic
will not replace natural furs. Like others,
emphasized poverty of new hunting skins,
& that trade helped them. He thought only
darge parks could preserve animals. Also
much cattleland, & exports inside of order
of wool. He thought that younger generation
little interested in luxury & fine clothes, &
this would diminish trade. But Germany
wealthy & many fur coats thus. The
journal PC/2, in German, featured stylish
photos & coat ads including jogger
coats. Center of trade at Frankfurt. Said
many fur dresses in U.S. put out of business
by labor unions. Few make but may get $ 4/day.
