July 19, 1956
1807 CBK. Trapped at about 8 p.m. & ♀ same trap 10 p.m. at mouth of Luty Stream. ♂ with plug of semen in penis. ♀ apparently lost atris. Taken in Schuylen trap, Brana bait. ♀ had inguinal pin nipples plus 2 on each side between legs, high on side in area of brown color. Stomach contents pale green & white mushy; frog ments smell.
October 22, 1956. Dr. Robert Cudrea wrote that he was interested in how many lost tails between marking & recapture.
October 23, 1956. Trapped on by 2:30 a.m. (Oct. 24) in front about 75 yds. SE of Chapman House. Held till noon Oct. 24. Marked 1/1 x 1/2 F by toe clips, #2, #1 toe too small to clips. Head 5± flex, 20± meter. Roamed a few meters in 70% ROH. Released at site capture. Released, stayed at spot for 4r minutes, then away with high brando & into grass. Tail intact. No disfigurements except slit 1/2 cm penina. Ate bread in cage. Easily handled in cloth sack. Can push & scratch hard with hind feet. Wt. 480 gms. ♂, testes old. Penis & anal region & scrotum not dark pigmented. In sack made soft crying sounds.

August 16, 1956 Carl Rottenmeyer notes. One, at 6:30 p.m. in hollow log at Doroto 3.5, 14" drain, open end mst trail. Same place 11:30 p.m. Apparent adult.
January 12, 1957. About midnight trapped ♂ in large live trap near SMI at side down log using lavender bait. Saw one under log earlier - This one photos in aquarium. Could be (this sp.?)
