Seemed to be moving a licking small insects (ants?) from branches. 12 February 1957 In afternoon Miss Marsh saw one close range near SM1. 26 February 1957 I saw one ascend vine near WWU 3. Postoral nipples enlarged; probable ? 4 March 1957 In evening I saw one in a 15' tall tree on the seaward side of Stothia Island. It appeared to be in good health. A week ago a visitor told me he saw one on this island. Did a boy put it there, as did it cross 50 yds. of water to reach the island? 27 March 1957 I saw one climbing 2" drain tree near AVA 12. David Donnelson saw one near WWU 8 1/2. 30 March 1957 Ramsey Goden saw one on Stothia Island; saw one on 4 March ? 5 April 1957 One feeding on ground near generator house. 3 May 1957 I saw one climbing tree at BL1. One of flight factors injured or missing. Rather small size. 7 May 1957 Saw saw one about 100 yds. E. of Big Tree men, JVT 5. 1 June 1957 I saw one ascend tree at WWU 9 about 9:30 a.m.
