at fork of Betch trail off AVA saw one lying on side on bunch of phylla
devonian growing 20' up side of 1 ft. drain tree. Did not respond
to calls, whistles, or dialing on side trunk but thought asleep, not
dead. (Not there next morning).

be this near WMW 15.

S. side clearing nr. Chapman House. It apparently one resting
high in tree near 523,
15 April 1957 Paul Johnson gave me one (mim). It captured
cp near Palo Duro about 1 month ago. Kept in cage since. It
was clean but scrawny. After 1/2 day without food I
weighed it - 1600 gms. I clipped inner right hind
toe nail XII and released near Chapman House. I
took photos. It climbed about 1 1/2 feet up 1 1/2" galv
nized iron pipe before slipping back down. Hind claws
clung tightly, forefoot claws weak compared to body-
pus.
