C Koford 1956 3 Bradypus griseus December 27, 1956 Barro Colorado Is, Gral Zone About 10 a.m. one in apparent Bombay 300 yds. NNW of 1952 Bldg. Stayed in upper branches at least an hour, apparently feeding. Had white mark with medial black stripes on flanks. Seen by Mr. & Mrs. Stappembek, who showed it to me. January 9, 1957. At Summit Gardens as in cage. Came 10' across ceiling wire when we arrived. Stretched out one arm + put claw in fur of back of a marmoset. Patch on both indist /0/. January 10, 1957. About 9 a.m. I saw one male in top of big Burba-copsis to SE of Foreman's House (Chichi H.). Tree with many leaf buds but few leaves yet. January 12, 1957. Saw one in top of Bombay with buds - but no leaves near TB 7½', 07. Same seen on TB 6' earlier? 19 January 1957 One in top of new bare Bombay 40yds. NNW of 1952 Bldg. at 8:30 a.m. + 1 p.m. JAN 26 1957 One low among large shrubs to N. of ZMA House, according to Don Densing. BC.I. 6 April 1957 I saw one in compound leaved tree (Viola?) at WMW 3 about 9:30 a.m. 17 April 1957 I saw one crawling on branch 15' above stream near The Water Hole near Summit, C. Z.
