Kitale Forest, Toro, Uganda
other. Ad. gr. adult. Ad. gr. juv. One white inf., closely held but
sometimes sat 1 ft. from od. Pink fore, black ears. 1023, 2 juvs.
descended tree; rest stayed. 1033 still inactive. One choice of adult
+ 2 large juvs. X Pirope not solved. Only 4 definite adults. No
other approached a handful white inf. by 1040. Brightening but seemed!
1650, to area Pirithan's N. corner. Near start Chimp Path, 5+
juv.-1 in new folaged Celtis (?) at edge forest, 20-30' up. 100
yds. NE of there, 7 or + at forest edge, 12-30' up. A third
group, 8 or + (incl. 2 juvs). One od. in tree betw. 2 gps., possibly
or having chased passing gp. to NE./Walked 5. on road. 1720, 1.3W,
5 or + 50' up in red. folaged (the 8 formerly at 1.4 W?) 1.3W.
1 adult, eating Mandelania leaves. 1.7W, 4 in a nr. dead tree. or,
flesh penis erect, rushed to high branches as if in threat -> me; 1
C. troilus within 50' of gps. Alarm of gps. at about 100 yds.
usually. No more seen by 2:1 on road; sunshine still (750).
Back at 1.7W, od. or ./. 1840, 1/4 mi. E. Pir.D. House, 2 in thin
top tall tree (Celtis?) and also black+ white hornbill perched within 50'.
30 October 1965. Rain 9 to 3 pm. 1600, alte statues. Chimp
Corner, 4 + (incl. juv. 3), 40' up, w. rest tail 20' below in same
tree. And 50 yds. NE of there, 3 ad. + juv.1 in Mandelania. Ad. or
with tail tip ??; inside than thin white loin &zp. apparently;

or?, 3ad. ?, juv.3, juv.1 = to. Flesh penis of or protrudes; display?
As & to 50 yds. from tree, they turned three treelops to nearer
tree. Saw second or, carried black inf.; possibly the 2 gps
had joined, or gp. = 8 (2or, 3?, juv 3, juv1, inf.). The od or
5-tail close to &; there moved last to NW., she 10sec. after
him + again sat close (6'). She crown 80' tree, there 2
