CKoford 3 Nasua navica November 17, 1956 Barro Colorado Is., C.Z. Tropped some around buildings & examined. 1155-569- 115-40, 11 lbs., Ø7, Mod. fat. No ectop. found. October ando- Sourza examined for ectoparasitic. Testes 25 x 20 mm. January 9, 1957. Tropped a Ø7, 10 lbs., at Test Table Bldg. for examination by Phyllis Johnston & Ernestine Thurman. They found ticks, chiggers, lice, & (in colon) orastrophyla. Oate measured 1400-450-110-40, 10 lbs., testis 22 x19. Saved laculum, R humerus, shell (cooked slowly). 16 January 1957. Saw 2 or 3 near AUA B, & 1 about 5 = 14, saw more often than Dasyprocta far from lab. 23 January 1957 Saw 2 at least 40' up in almonds tree. Probably feeding on husks of almonds nuts. Blue doing same. JAN 27 1957 Killed a ♀, 8 lbs., near Kitchen. Examined by R. Enders. No embryos, but slight pigment lips ulva & or nipples. Red chigger clusters on ears & some nipples. Enders saved skeleton. We saw about 15 (only one juv.) on kitchen lawn at mealtime. Heliodra still feeds there thug although she has orders not to. 31 January 1957 Saw 3 by green eyeskine about 20' above ground in tree to SE of Chapman House about 8 p.m. Tropped & killed 10 lb. ♂, testis , near Kitchen. 4 May 1957 Near 1924 Bldg. about 4 scruggly heavily pregnant females occasionally seen. No young seen yet. Often during last few weeks have seen 1 to 4 in large Acrobia going from fruit to fruits as if eating acats or other waste there.
