1650, 1 I E, 7 ad. as usual; some in coffee (?) trees, which bear 15 mm fruits. Boik at 0.4w, saw 7 ad. again, same place; 1 grey inf., and
one ad. C. guereza similar as some.

T0: Toro Game Preserve, Wasa R., Toro, Uganda (E.)
Arrived at old Bushman camps 1/2 mile downstream from Wasa R. bridge about
1 p.m. Saw 5+ in tree 100 yds. from camp. Across river to N., 6+ in trees
on river. From Waza Camp, 1/4 mile above bridge, saw 6 ad. in two ovens
river, to W., resting. Conspicuously larger white hair on back + tail than at Kibale,
& tail tuft cleaner whiter, so white more conspicuous. Milled shrubs + trees
along river in irregular belt after 1/4 mile wide; few tree over 80 ft. /1640,

150 yds. S/W of camp, 9 (2 juv) in top + side fresh gum mod. hard (simple alt. deciduous) tree. Walked upstream; 1713, 1/4 mile W. camp on N. side river diam.

(along large Y shaped tree, 3 ads. There in isolated patch 100 yds. across; to home must E.W.
cross 100' min. of grass, to W. Tail tends conspic., espccr when run. /1805,

200 yds. N/W of camp in top fine new leafed tree, many - Kristi counted 14+
max.-feeding "Gp. A" gone, but 3 in P big-leafed tree 50 yds. W. of site.
At 1805, barkers heard, + gp. 9 Papio seen in large big leafed tree 100yds.

N/W of camp, within 50 yds. of where Colobus seen earlier.
2 October 1965. 0200, gurgling bands of Colobus from 2 or 3 sites in area camps A and C; apparently 2 howled from area of C. Also Papio barkers,
which perhaps startled the colobus. (Disturbance calls?). Resident to about 6 groups
in night bowling at disturbance. /0700, bands C and A' still in
trees, tho I saw only C at former (3 latter). Long drizzly rain then.
The gurgling calls heard about 0630. These gps. still present 0900, as
rain continued. /1110, I saw one ad. on their branch of tree on S. bank,
200 yds. downstream from opposite camps. Band "C" (8 ads + gray inf.)
