Koford, CB 20 Colobus abyssinicus 28 September 1965 Kibale Forest, Toro, Uganda of C. ludius seen in eve a few days ago. 1.85E, 5 (w, jnr.) ting. Then about 1845. 29 September 1965 alts strobus overt, colm. Saw no monkeys from Bridhan's House. Walked forest edge to Chirip Rd., N. to crek, & saw but 1, heard 1. But 10+ (prob. "A") in area E. of P.R. O.I (saw & scan r brow). / 1.22E, 5 abs. in 2 tree (usual 5) sat quietly; or sat close behind 4v. hand on her shoulders for 10+sec. 1.25W., 3 out in 50'Markhamia. 7.15a. About 12 m, usual band A. nr. O.I on Bridhan Rd. Disturbed by photographer's approach. One worked up and struck another above. Then are of tourist groups, & lately fairly constant this site in Celtis, Olea, & Markhamia; visible from Rogers Rd. too at 1.0W., / 1645 & again an hour later, lone ad. or 1.3W. in Markhamia tree (some C. ludius within 5yds.). The usual 5 ads. at 1+1.95E. 1.2 OE., 7 ads. (usual), all in one 40'tall Markhamia w. few flowers. 30 September 1965. Thincerus boza. P.Rd..1E, large gp. in Olea (= A). Mi. O. 4W., Rogers 5m rd.), 7 ads.+ the gray inf, as seen last eve (inf. black brown, & falcip, lut most back & tail gray-white). Inf. sawt. 2' from mother, apper. feeding self, in Celtis tree with small leaves + flowers. / See C. ludius note on inter-actin lictw. species. / K-6, more about 1030. But usual 5 ads. at 1.95E (3 in well-leaved Celtis). / Area Njugata bridge, rarely seen the many Celtis & Markhamia prevent. Perhaps big trees too isolated for easy jumps between?
