The colobus (colerus?) to 6' from redtail not precisely in thin foliaged tree. 0850, mi. 1.2E., 7 ads. lobed in 30' tree (and - the 50' 29 gps.). Roosting, sprawling. I walked S. 0845 from mi.1.2. 0905, 7 (1 large juv.) in lare treetop 150yds. W. of road at mi. 1.4. 1015, mi. 1.55 W., one adult 100yds. W. 0940, turns back N. at K-8. At least slowly brightening around. 1005, 1.53, 2 od. ♀ in Marikhamia & adj. 80'tree; one looked off 50 yds. + other soon followed. 1020, the 7 still at 1.2E. Then all colobus seen in Census walk 1.1 to 2.1 + return, the ads saw 1 and 5+ redtails in walks. 1030, Bridham road, saw some here at A, B, C or elsewhere. //1200, on area of two juv. ♀ 2 ad.♀♀ to W. of mi. 1.1, ad.♀, +, juv.♀, & W. block inf. /1220, the 7 still at 1.2E. Occas. sunburn; 9/10 cloudy. /1243, adult apper- antly chasing (following?) another ad. near 0.1E. on Bridham road. at 1pm one of them. It descended when I to 48 yds. from tree. Hot, calm, bright. /1400, at least 4 ads. at 1.2E. when 7 had been all well in shade in foliaged tree & quiet. The 1.1W. heterophyll gp. present on of 1.1 E = +10? +1 augmented; apparently 4 od.♀♀. Out across road, E. of cut, 2 ad.♀♀, prob. unused ones. /1625, ♀, one ad.♀ in tree. 1.1 W. severe. 1.21E., 6 ads. seen. Rain showers then. I saw 2 in near bare tree (few new foliage) at forest edge of Bridham's tea field, 200yds NE house. Later C.
