BC Island, Carol Zone.
Several near buildings every day. Cook just left over food or lawn. Tails expressed, up high when several together, probably lowered in submissive attitude. A tame joguamski brought within 15'. One costie walked to 3', tail high. When man closed both costies the joguamski ran after them. Mr. Wilmer, photographer, said costie disappears at one time earlier this year, then returns again to headquarters area.
July 25, 1956 About noon two half grown seen with two different adults (4 jrs in all) on lawn at Hoskins Bldg.
August 7, 1956. The bunch of Juns on lawn near Detch en include 7 juns., about 1/4 size adults.
September 9, 1956 Hugo Wilmer has had about 5 mins. over 3 adults in an enclosure for about 2 weeks. I trapped one adult & 4 young & marked them. //Adult #?, 40" total length, 13 3/4 lbs. I clipped fur of crown, slit left ear (T), cut off LF toe ///X(medial). Tester appeared abdominal.
