in band; at least one other ad. ♀. Nearly 2 redtails looked recklessly thru
trees, + then were 4♂ C. mitis nearby; possibly big ♂ of C. ol. chasing off
other spp. at S. and territory. Then he returned slow toward others.
1755, mi. 1.45hr. / about 1800, mi. (1.7), 4 adv. old Melianthia
flowers; at least 2 v-♂. Band of 12♂ redtails within 100 yds.
Back at 1.35, 1845, 6 incl 2 juvs. (seen when seen earlier; prob.
same gp.). Big ♂ looked 100yds. S. + then 100 yds. N. thru tree, or
if chasing others., /1900, tree A (& adj. to SE), 7 (1 w. inf.), and
in te C. 4; two other singly, on N. of Redh. Road.
18 September 1965, 0830, still ♂ in A, 3 m C, feeding on leaves.
Calm, rising clouds; Rwenzori summit visible. One ad.
♂ in A has black scar in white R brow (2 other ♀♀ + juv ♂ in A),
Additional 4 in thick green tree (Melianthia.) mi. C. So, remain
all right in this area; both grooves. /0900, one ♂ 50 NE Redh.
Road, atop two, above (mi. 0.2). Of 5 in tree A, one ♀ juv., 2 juvs,
3(?) yrs, 2 ad ♂. Eat fresh light green leaves of tree A D.
/ 0915, tree A, said feeding - 11 seen. Clear cock mouthful 10+X.
