17 March 1957 Barro Colorado Is, Canal Zone
Last evening mother & baby on low branch of a Cecropia about
100 yds. SE of Chapman House, at 7 p.m. Still there 6:10 a.m. but very soon departed. Young are small, clinging to mother.
6 April 1957 A group of 10 out near Lake 6. At least 2 of them were adults carrying juveniles (so 12+ total).
13 April 1957 At least 5 in Cecropia & other trees 50 yds. SE of 1924 Bldg. Two each carry a small young. Young one clings upside down to chest mother as she climbs along branches. Some of group hauled when gasoline engine at 1924 Bldg. started. 9 April in p.m. there were 2 out in same tree near 1924 Bldg.
20 April 1957 At least 5 in almonder & other trees near JZ 8. Heard early from AVA 9.
27 April 1957 Found skeleton, termites still feeding on parts, in bed Alles Creek about 200 yds. above 1952 Lab.
4 May 1957 Saw at least 5 including small young separated from mother at JZ 0. On 30 April saw about 8, perhaps some group, at AVA 2.
7 May 1957 A love of eating figs in tree near TB6. Not especially large.
29 May 1957 Saw group of 3+ at BL 2 about 9 a.m., 4 at 11:45 a group of 5+ at SM 1/2.
1 June 1957 Saw 1 and heard others 100 yds. to left (going out) of AVA 13, about 10:30 a.m.
