1042, opposite road camps (3/4 mi. S. of Samwell), in tall tree, mostly above dense foliage, gp. of 5 and 7, about 100 yds. apart, in top 10 % of trees.
Along Bridham road saw 4 o + about 100 ft. up, where little foliage; some on low branches.
1042, 3 or + to N. of teafield by G.W.P. house.
Drove slowly to crest about 3.6 mi. S. of entrance to Bridham estate, but saw no more monkeys (time of day? Overcast, bright.)

At road camps, from .2 mi. S. of K6 on road, gp. of 6 od., 2 jun (1 w. graylumba), 1 white infant; Penis od. or visible at long range pale flesh color in black; or sat heavily astraddle branch,/about 0905,
.2 mi. farther S., at curve looking W. over road camps, gp. of 5 in tall tree (took 35 mm. bracketed slide).
0905, walked up Bridham's road.
0958, 100 yds. E. of house saw 9 or +, incl. 2 or + inf., 3 or jun.s. Then in and on, above, thick opaque foliage of treetops (35 mm bracketed slide).
1005, still there.
At 1020, walked S. on Elephant Control Path starting about 1.3 mi. S. of Bridham's jet.
1030, saw 4 od. (one sure or) + 2 inf. (no adult canid at vented).
1055 reached Mpanga R. and walked N on trail.
1120, across ruin, saw od. of 70' up astraddle limb of tree 20 yds. from ruin. He looked quickly about as if nervous or trying to free away from me, 200 yds. away; second od. 100' from him. Fine green foliage, road dense. No recent cutting line. Monkeys seem more camouflaged in disturbed areas near roads.
At 1205, still gp. when seen 10:30.
6 p.m., 200 yds. N. of road opposite Rogers' Samwell Road, saw 3 in tree.
24 August 1965. 0858, to E. of residences on hill at Rogers' Samwell,
