Koford, CB 5 Colobus badius 27 September 1965 Kilale Forest, Toro Uganda 1.35 E., w.w. 8' One w. infant. One sat same tree as 3 C. alyssin., within 5 yds. of 4 ad. & 3' of one ad. / Yelps like tiny (American or Belgian) dogs, yip, yip, made by C. b. gp. / 1025, tree w. of 1.0 where saw 3 C. alyss. earlier now 2. C. badius , As I appr. to 100 yds., these descended + entered tree where said C. alyss. rested (Two of latter darted away, but soon returned), C. b. ad. sat 3' from 45 each of 3 ad. C. alyss. / 1600, 2' in branch treetops nr Bridh. NE corner tea field ( = 200 yds. N of area 200 yds. N of Bridh. Rd. (Probably same gp. as ranger to 200 yds. N of Bridh. House.) others in similar trees to E. / about 1015 saw no around tree where 11 C. alyss., nr O.3E, + possibly dispense one (see C.b. notes). 1050, 6 (1 jnr. (yelping?)) feeding in rain in Celtis (?) nr NE corner of tea field (N. of P.R. 0.2). (C. alyss. cover in rain like rhino; C. b. fed actively.) / About 1400, 3 in area of 5 ad. near Bridhams NE corner. 1505, 3 at within 200 ft. of 4 ad. C. alyss. at 1.4E in tree. 29 September 1965. Alto static; calm. about 9 am saw none from Bridham house, or in walk along forest edge + N to creek on Chimp Path, + back to house. Also unusual not to see low. Kogera SM Rd. 1.15 W., 3 (perhaps 1 sep. from others), (In area were 3 C. nictitans.) jnr / 1.3W, 4 in Marlebania tree; fed (or foliage?) + 1 infant. about 0930. 30 September 1965. Kogera SM Rd. 0.4W, in Celtis tree w. small leaves + flowers, about 12 including 3+ jnrs and 4 carried inf's. Same inf's: small & crans dark gray rather than reddish. About 5 of them went 10' to tree where 6 C. alyss., + both fed in same tree, often
