C. Koford Ceropithecus nictitans 6 November 1965 Kibale Forest, Toro Uganda climbed 10' higher, & made shorter crossing there. One in 10 tall trees. 9 November 1965. In botanical garden, Entebbe, in 100 ft tree, saw a small group. Mabora (sp. ?) Forest, 7 mi. N. Lygazi, 11-12 November 1965. 20 mi. E. of Kampala, Uganda. In forest area (30') near coffee & tea, where saw Cercopithecus, saw a few, including band of 10 or more. The last one I carried juice, & free small juveniles. Cheeping, burbling, audible at least 50 yds. One in tree gave towards me single short loud buzz, almost like a slap, said tenies, or if an alarm call.
