C. Koford ascanios Cercopithecus nictitans 1 November 1965 Kibale Forest, Toro, Uganda Saw + single during food census. Then at 1.9 E., 3 only 10-15' up in Trema. Tail partly looped on branch - somewhat prehensile? One into top 20' Mankemia and ate. 2 November 1965. 11 am, 0.83 W., 2 juvs. in Canopa (?) Side of One seemed to nibble new buds on tops branches. 11300, about 1 6 walking thru branches Trema near 0.655 (curve). One mounted other ahead of it; seemed to grip solves w. brief foot; stay- ed on for count 16 secs. - dismounted; antleria we lay from a few secs, then sat up & turned, + two put noses close together calmly. Then walked on. Social? 3 November 1965. 0815, 3+ in 15' Trema at 0.9 W. In same area about 1730, 3 in 80'tree. 4 November 1965. 1035, in loose gps(?) 3 blue, 1 redt, 1 red col, +?, leading + redt. passed on same branch w/o apparent reaction. 15.5E, at least + in mod. dense green veg. 5 November 1965. 1700, saw 3 singles along N. boundary forest edge of Pridham's tea field. Walked S. 1.35W., 2 redt. 1.8W, 9+ with 9+ blues in loose group, mixed in order as threw turn to N.; the follow about same route, redt. more scattered than blues. blues in gps. (less tightly gregarious?). One ate yellow Mankemia; walked S. 2.15 + bold. About 1930, 1.33 E., 3 in apparently leafless tree, seeming to eat tiny fruits. 5 November 1965. about 1700, 1.73E., saw 3. Near 1.75W., 2 in dry dead appearing tree, seemed to bite at bark or lichens occurs. 6 November 1965.
